We continue our series of birthday celebrations this week with two French composers, Jacques Ibert and Gabriel Pierné. We’re going to use that as an excuse to go to France to hear some of their music, and then to top off our show today, we have one of the great works for organ and orchestra, the Concerto for Organ, Timpani and Strings by Francois Poulenc. It’s an all French show today!
